Day One Lineups released

Day one matches have been released for Laver Cup 2023.

The competition at Rogers Arena will feature newcomers Arthur Fils for Team Europe and Ben Shelton in the opening match, starting at 1pm.

They will be followed by two more Laver Cup debutantes in Match 2 as Team Europe’s Alejandro Davidovich Fokina faces off against Team World’s Francisco Cerundolo.

The night session, starting at 7pm, will begin with hometown favorite Felix Auger-Aliassime against first-time Team Europe representative Gael Monfils.

Friday night’s doubles sees Fils return to partner with Andrey Rublev against Team World’s Frances Tiafoe and Tommy Paul.

Matches are worth one point on Friday, two on Saturday and three on Sunday. The first team to reach 13 points wins.

Both singles and doubles are best of three sets with ad scoring. In the event of split sets, the third set is a 10-point match tiebreaker.
