From the intensity of competing for something bigger than themselves to the friendships, advice and emotion shared away from the court, Laver Cup London 2026 produced plenty of memorable words. Captains, players, vice-captains and rookies offered their perspectives throughout three days of competition at The O2.
But I just thrive in these types of environments, right? I look forward to them every single year. The tennis tour is a long year, and whenever you get to play for a little bit more than just yourself, it brings the kind of extra energy. – Alex de Minaur, Team World

I think everyone in the stadium was trying to hold back the tears but couldn’t, including myself and all the players involved.
