World No. 16 Brandon Nakashima will make his Laver Cup debut in London next week, joining Captain Andre Agassi’s Team World for Laver Cup 2026 which takes place at The O2 from September 25-27.

The 25-year-old American replaces Ben Shelton, who has withdrawn from the event. Nakashima arrives in London following a strong 2026 season which has seen him break into the world’s Top 20 for the first time. He reached his first ATP Masters 1000 final in Montreal in August, as well as the semi-finals the following week at the ATP Masters 1000 event in
Cincinnati.

Nakashima joins Alex de Minaur, Taylor Fritz, Alexander Bublik, Learner Tien and Francisco Cerundolo on Team World.

“I’m really excited to be making my Laver Cup debut in London,” said Nakashima. “It’s an event I’ve always dreamed of playing, and I can’t wait to be part of Team World, competing alongside the guys and playing for Andre and Pat. Looking forward to getting to The O2 and doing everything I can to help the team.”
