Overview
Bublik is making his Laver Cup debut after establishing himself as one of the most talented and entertaining players in the game. The 29-year-old reached a career-high ranking of World No. 10 earlier this year following his title run in Hong Kong. Last season he captured titles in Halle, Gstaad, Kitzbühel and Hangzhou, becoming just the third player this decade, alongside Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz, to win ATP titles on clay, grass and hard courts in the same season.

Off Court
Bublik was born in Russia but switched his nationality to represent Kazakhstan in 2016. He has a son named Vasily, born in August 2022, and is married to Tatiyana Bublik. He was introduced to tennis at the age of two by his father, Stanislav. He is a big watch enthusiast and loves getting into nature when he has a break.

Career
Bublik cracked the Top 10 for the first time in January, following his triumph in Hong Kong, where he claimed his ninth ATP Tour singles title. He reached the quarterfinals at Roland-Garros in 2025 and recorded the biggest win of his career over No.1 Jannik Sinner en route to the title at Halle, also in 2025. His breakthrough moment came in 2022 when he defeated No.3-ranked Alexander Zverev for his first title at Montpellier. To this day, Bublik holds a 3-1 head-to-head lead over the recently crowned Roland Garros champion. A highly competent doubles player – he was a finalist at Roland Garros in 2021 with countryman Alexander Golubev and a semifinalist at the Australian Open 2020 with Mikhail Kukushkin – Bublik has also partnered with Team World’s Ben Shelton several times, reaching the Rome ATP Masters 1000 semifinal in 2024.
