Andy Roddick’s popular “Served” podcast kicked off the Laver Cup London 2026 Fan Zone on Thursday with a live interview with Team World captain Andre Agassi.
Roddick asked his fellow American about his relationship with the players coming into his second year. “You don’t parachute into these guys’ lives for a week and expect to have any impact,” Agassi said.
“We have a few freshies, but they are young and really good.” Agassi described Taylor Fritz as “unflappable” and Alex de Minaur “unstoppable”, forming the backbone of his team, having both played a pivotal role in Team World’s victory in San Francisco last year.
Team Europe captain Yannick Noah later joined Roddick on stage. Asked what surprised him most about his Laver Cup role, Noah talked about developing friendships. “We talk about so many different things,” said Noah. “We all love this game. We all love playing.”
Noah said he felt shy in his first year with the players, but has enjoyed getting to know his team and focuses on doing anything he can to help them. “Sometimes I’m ball boy, I give them bananas, water,” he said. “This is my job.” Roddick will broadcast live from Fan Zone each day of Laver Cup.
The blue of Team Europe and red of Team World don’t often mix at Laver Cup, but the new official vodka cocktail from Grey Goose does just that in the Goose Breaker, inspired by the 10-point match tiebreaker known as the Laver Breaker.
By combining the French-crafted Grey Goose vodka with fresh lemonade, tart cranberry juice and a touch of Combier Crème de Mure blackberry liqueur, drink creator Joe McCanta of Grey Goose says the cocktail balances bright citrus with rich berry flavors, and comes garnished with three fresh blueberries on a Grey Goose pick with the Team Europe emblem on one side and Team World on the other.
“Inspired by Team World versus Team Europe, it is about red meeting blue,” he said. The Laver Cup’s black court gets a nod through the mixture of blackberry and cranberry. Debuting at the Opening Night Gala, the Goose Breaker is found in select Laver Cup premium hospitality spaces and at The O2’s concessions. It joins other famed Grey Goose tennis-inspirecocktails, such as the transcendent Honey Deuce from New York City and the Lemon Ace found in Melbourne, also created by McCanta. He says that all three drinks reside in the same family, each with a form of lemonade as part of the cocktail.

Laver Cup Animated returns in 2026, bringing a fun, fully immersive alternative broadcast to fans watching through the Tennis Channel. The animated feed recreates every match from player warm-up through to the final ball, combining real-time player tracking with custom-built avatars, graphics, replays and player-level viewpoints.
“The technology allows us to move beyond the constraints of traditional broadcast coverage and deliver immersive perspectives that put viewers right in the heart of the action,” says Rob O’Gorman, executive producer of innovation for Tennis Australia.
“We’re no longer limited to physical camera positions around the stadium. We can introduce entirely new viewpoints, from player-level perspectives and over-the-net angles to dynamic tracking shots that follow the ball and athletes through every rally, creating a tennis viewing experience that simply isn’t possible with conventional production.”
The concept was developed through Tennis Australia’s innovation incubator, AO LABS. Using the same camera technology that supports automatic line calling, the tracking system generates 3D positions from 27 skeletal tracking points on each player and five tracking points on the racquet. That data feeds into a custom-built production engine to animate the broadcast in real time.
“Laver Cup has always embraced new ideas that bring fans closer to the action, and we’re thrilled to continue that journey with the return of Laver Cup Animated in 2026,” said Laver Cup CEO Steve Zacks.
Laver Cup Open Practice Day Welcomes 2,000 Kids
The excitement over Laver Cup London 2026 grew on Thursday with roughly 2,000 kids invited to attend the open practice session featuring players from Team Europe and Team World. Each team spent an hour on the court, practicing and interacting with each other. They were especially delighted when Team Europe’s Alexander Zverev tied Carlos Alcaraz’s luscious black locks into a ‘man bun’.
