Laver Cup and Cleveland Clinic Extends Medical Services Agreement

Laver Cup has extended its agreement with Cleveland Clinic for 2024 and 2025, continuing the relationship established between the non-profit academic medical centre and the events in London (2022) and Vancouver (2023).

As the Official Healthcare Provider of Laver Cup, Cleveland Clinic Sports Medicine will provide the medical services for Team Europe and Team World at the upcoming tournaments in Berlin (September 20-22, 2024) and San Francisco (September 19-21, 2025).

Cleveland Clinic sports medicine experts provide the highest level of personalized care and support to athletes of all levels and will be an integral part of the new Global Peak Performance Center, which is anticipated to open in 2027. It will offer comprehensive care for the public, including athletes of all sports and abilities, with access to testing and high-tech training equipment and devices, along with expert professionals from a variety of specialties, including orthopaedic surgery, sports medicine, cardiology, pulmonology, exercise physiology, neurology, nutrition, psychology and genetics.

The Laver Cup is played over three days, using an exciting team format, on a dramatic black court. The competition pits six of the best players from Europe against six of their counterparts from the rest of the World with tennis legends and great rivals Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe captaining Team Europe and Team World respectively for the last time this year.
