The Laver Cup is bringing the excitement of world class tennis to life beyond the court with the launch of the Laver Cup Fan Zone at Thrive City, the district surrounding Chase Center, from September 18-21. Fans can enjoy a free, four-day celebration of tennis, entertainment, food and culture – all in the heart of San Francisco.

At the center of the action is a massive outdoor LED screen where fans can watch every thrilling Laver Cup match live. The Fan Zone will also feature official Laver Cup merchandise, interactive activations, and more than a dozen of Thrive City’s top-tier bars and restaurants.

“The excitement inside Chase Center will be mirrored outside as soon as fans step into Thrive City,” said Golden State President and COO Brandon Schneider. “Thrive City is a destination in itself, offering an authentic Bay Area experience with a diverse array of local restaurants and vibrant year-round programming. The Laver Cup Fan Zone will turn the area into a celebration, providing every tennis fan with unparalleled access to join in on this global event.”

“The Fan Zone is our way of opening the doors to every fan. Whether you have a ticket to attend the matches or not, you can come down to watch them live on the big screen, see legends of the game and special guests on the SERVED podcast stage, connect with our partners through interactive activations or pick up a racquet yourself. It’s a free and unforgettable opportunity to experience the Laver Cup atmosphere,” said Laver Cup CEO Steve Zacks.

The Fan Zone will open on Thursday, September 18, during Laver Cup Open Practice Day presented by FICO, giving fans an early opportunity to experience the atmosphere. From Friday, September 19 to Sunday, September 21, the Fan Zone will run alongside the competition, with Thrive City transforming into an official ‘Entertainment Zone’. Fans aged 21 years and over can purchase ‘to-go’ alcoholic drinks from participating businesses and enjoy them while taking in the atmosphere.
