arthur fery

Biography

Overview
Fery joins Team Europe for its 2026 Laver Cup campaign at The O2 as an alternate, having made an impact on the international circuit this year and reaching his first ATP 250 final at Winston-Salem. Should he take the court in London if one of Yannick Noah’s six players is unable to compete, Fery can expect plenty of home support. Born in France, he completed high school in the UK and competes under the Union Jack.

Off Court
Fery’s mother, Olivia, is a former pro player, and his father, Loic, is a French businessman. Arthur attended Stanford University after completing high school at King’s College School in Wimbledon and was ranked No. 1 in singles and No. 6 in doubles in college tennis in 2022. He was Stanford’s first No. 1-ranked player since Bob Bryan in 1998.

Career
Taking the US college tennis route, Fery broke into the Top 100 in August 2026 after reaching his first ATP Tour final in Winston-Salem. He made world headlines at Wimbledon, where, as a wildcard, he fearlessly pushed through to the semifinals. In between his advances on the ATP Tour, Fery has posted consistently strong results on the Challenger circuit and qualified for the Australian Open in January, where he logged a straight-sets victory over Team Europe’s Flavio Cobolli in the first round.
