As Team World’s champagne-soaked locker room gets a thorough scrubbing following Laver Cup San Francisco 2025, Laver Cup looks forward to London 2026 from September 25-27, 2026.

The last time Laver Cup descended on London’s The O2 Arena in 2022, the famed black court served as a backdrop to one of the most emotional retirement farewells in sports when Roger Federer played his final ATP match. Laver Cup is ready to create fresh memories in The O2 as the event makes its first-ever return to a city.

“We are thrilled to be bringing the Laver Cup back to London, one of the world’s great sporting cities,” said Tony Godsick, Laver Cup chairman. “The appetite to see Laver Cup return was impossible to ignore, and we’re excited to once again bring this unique tennis event back to The O2.”

London not only positions as a hub to welcome fans from across Europe and around the world, but The O2 provides one of the world’s most entertainment-ready arenas. “The O2 is a spectacular venue that combines cutting-edge technology, world-class amenities and an atmosphere that elevates every match,” said Steve Zacks, Laver Cup CEO. “It’s the perfects stage for the drama, intensity and camaraderie that defines Laver Cup.”

The Laver Cup alternates between a Team Europe and Team World host city each year. Kicking off in 2017 in Prague, it moved to Chicago for 2018, Geneva in 2019, Boston in 2021, London in 2022, Vancouver in 2023, Berlin in 2024 and San Francisco in 2025. Godsick said the demand from fans for tickets and the response from the commercial community in 2022 made it clear that returning to London offered a valuable experience, both for tennis supporters and the event.

The O2 Arena offers a distinct venue for sports. Opened in 2007 on the Greenwich peninsula under the massive Millennium Dome, The O2 arguably became the first custom-designed music arena in London since the opening of Royal Albert Hall in 1871. The O2 has attracted some of the biggest names in entertainment, from sell-out concerts by Taylor Swift, Madonna, Adele, Elton John and The Rolling Stones to events during the 2012 Olympics.

The arena’s design—it was fully constructed under the existing Millennium Dome roof—creates a unique experience that allows the Laver Cup to craft a special event for fans.

“The atmosphere at The O2 in 2022 was electric,” said Tim Henman, British tennis legend and Team Europe vice captain. “It’s a city that lives and breathes sport, and I know the fans will make it another unforgettable occasion.”
