Tickets for the Laver Cup Open Practice Day go on sale

Tickets for the highly anticipated Laver Cup Open Practice Day, taking place at Uber Arena in Berlin on Thursday September 19, 2024 are now on sale.

 Fans will have the opportunity to watch many of the world’s greatest tennis stars in action as they prepare for the Laver Cup. This exciting event offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the players’ practice routines ahead of the prestigious tournament, which runs from September 20-22.

The Laver Cup Open Practice Day will take place from 12-2pm. Team World will kick off the session, practicing from 12-1pm, followed by Team Europe from 1-2pm.

Featuring spectacular lighting, music and on-court interviews with players and captains, Open Practice Day is a fun way for families and kids to experience the Laver Cup first-hand. Doors open at 11am.

Alexander Zverev, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, Casper Ruud, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Rafael Nadal from Team Europe, along with Team World’s Taylor Fritz, Alex de Minaur, Tommy Paul, Frances Tiafoe, Ben Shelton and Alejandro Tabilo will be joined by their legendary captains Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe for their final preparations on the dramatic Laver Cup black court.

To inspire the next generation of athletes, more than 2,500 children from local tennis programs and schools across Berlin have been invited to attend the Open Practice Day free of charge. These youngsters will have the chance to experience world-class tennis up close, furthering the Laver Cup’s mission to foster the sport at grassroots level.

“Open Practice Day is a unique, fun and accessible part of the Laver Cup week. It allows fans to witness many of the best players in the world in their final preparations for the competition,” said Laver Cup CEO, Steve Zacks.

“By inviting over 1,000 kids from local tennis programs and schools, we hope to inspire the next generation and leave a lasting impact on the Berlin tennis community. It’s a wonderful opportunity for youngsters to be motivated and connect with the sport in a way that’s truly unforgettable.”
