Stars to be welcomed to Geneva on Wednesday

The superstars of world tennis, led by Switzerland’s own Roger Federer, will headline a free public appearance in Geneva, as they are officially welcomed to the city at Palais Eynard.

The legendary Rod Laver, the only man to win two calendar-year Grand Slams, will join the players and captains of Team Europe and Team World as they make their first public appearance before what promises to be a spectacular weekend of Laver Cup tennis.

Proceedings will commence at 12.00 noon, with the arrival of the Laver Cup trophy, Rod Laver and the captains and players of both teams. They will be welcomed to Geneva by city officials on the balcony of Palais Eynard

Fans in attendance will have the chance to win highly sought after Laver Cup tickets.

Date: Wednesday September 18, 2019

Time: 12.00 noon (media should arrive by 11.45 to set up)

Venue: Palais Eynard, Parc des Bastions
