Prague’s O2 Arena has been selected to host the inaugural Laver Cup.
The O2 arena in Prague, Czech Republic, will host the inaugural Laver Cup in September 2017.
The state-of-the-art 18,000 seat indoor arena will set the scene for a tennis competition like no other.
The world’s elite players will battle for national pride pitting Europe against The World in a unique format that will unite fierce on-court rivals as teammates.
Two of the greatest players of all time, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have committed to represent team Europe, and are relishing the opportunity to play together.
“Rafa and I have faced each other across the net countless times … it will be exciting to see what we can accomplish together,” Federer said.
The Laver Cup will take place in five sessions over three days from September 22-24 2017, further information on ticket availability will be announced later this year.

The O2 arena has hosted five Davis and Fed Cup semifinals and finals since 2012 to packed houses of enthusiastic fans and has become the only venue in the world to celebrate home team titles in the same year.
