Accreditation Assistant

Dates Required: Thursday 12 – Sunday 22 September 2019

  • Assist with the set-up and pack-up of all Accreditation office and systems
  • Process accreditation applications and passes according to Accreditation Policies as directed by the Accreditation Supervisor
  • Facilitate the collection and distribution of Accreditation passes
  • Display a professional and courteous manner when servicing individuals at Accreditation office
  • Ensure all accredited persons show valid Photo ID upon collection and sign the collection form
  • Strong administrative skills are required for this role

Activations / Fan Zone

Dates Required: Thursday 19 – Sunday 22 September 2019

  • Engage with patrons in the fan zone and assisting with event information
  • Combination of fixed and roaming positions
  • Some roles will assist with participation of fans, particularly kids, in on-court activities

Court Services

Dates Required: Saturday 14 – Monday 23 September 2019

  • Assist with the set-up and pack-up of the Court Services area
  • Assist with the delivery of towels, drinks, ice, toiletries and miscellaneous supplies to nominated areas
  • Assist with the coordination of ball and towel retrieval
  • Assist with the court set-up for both the center court and practice court
  • Provide professional and friendly service at all times
  • Daily collection and delivery of player laundry to and from the player change rooms

  • Assist Event Operations and Site Operations Management with the bump-in and bump-out of the venue pre and post tournament
  • Assist with stock management throughout the event

  • Welcome accredited media to the workroom and assist with general tournament enquiries

Transport Desk

  • Located on-site and within each of our official hotels, this role will assist our VIP guests to their allocated vehicles
  • Assist with general event questions and direct guests to the appropriate contacts where required
  • Liaise with Transport provider to ensure a premium guest experience

The Laver Cup 2019 Ballkids squad has been finalized following trials conducted with registered tennis players from the Geneva area, as well as experienced ballkids from other Swiss tennis events.

Volunteers - General Information

All roles will be included as part of a roster, however full availability is expected during the date range supplied

  • If you are unable to work any of the days listed, please highlight this in your application so it can be considered prior to rostering shifts
  • Fluent English is required for administrative roles, however French and German speaking applicants are desirable across all consumer facing roles
  • Applicants from outside Switzerland must arrange their own Visas (if required) to volunteer in Geneva
  • There are a limited number of roles in each area so your first preference may not be available
  • All applications will be considered and allocated based on preference, availability and relevant experience
  • All applicants will receive a response in a timely manner regarding their applications status
  • Successful volunteers will need to complete an induction and on-site training session (date TBC)
  • All volunteers will be provided with a Laver Cup uniform and meals will be provided for all shifts worked
